Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

The security factor plays a significant role in deciding the popularity of a website. As the admin of an E-learning platform, you must make sure that the accounts on your website are safe. Integrating the Two-Factor Authentication adds a layer of security to the authentication process by making it harder for attackers to gain access. After entering the password, the user must enter a secret number sent to the user’s authenticator app like google authenticator, microsoft authenticator, and more. The account can only be accessed after adding the authentication code sent to the user’s device.

As the admin, you select the accounts that require Two-Factor Authentication to log in. If a user loses their device and cannot log in, the user must contact the admin to disable the 2FA to log in again.

• To activate the Two-Factor Authentication features in a tutor/students profile, the admin should visit the admin dashboard to locate the particular tutors/students profile.

• From the profile, the admin can activate the Two-Factor Authentication feature.

• Once the Two-Factor Authentication is activated, the students/tutors need to open their authenticator app to get the secret verification code.

• Once they enter the verification code, the profile will open.
