Tutor Subscription for Courses

Tutors on Pinlearn can create subscription plans for courses on their profile. These subscription plans are for monthly, half-yearly, or yearly duration and can be bought by students from the tutor’s profile. Once the subscription is canceled, then it remains active till the expiry date of the subscription set by the tutor. Admin of the platform can oversee the subscription plans created by all tutors from the backend.

• Tutors can create course subscription plans on their profile from the “subscriptions” tab.

• Under the “course manager” tab on the tutor’s profile, they can create new subscription plans and set the prices on the “pricing” tab.

• Tutors can also create free or paid courses but won’t be able to set prices as students won’t be able to access courses unless they subscribe.

• The courses on the tutor’s profile are based on cohort learning, and new course material is made available in a timely duration so that students can benefit more by subscribing for longer periods.

• Tutors can check the course details, subscribed students, transactions, expiry and renewal dates of the subscription plans, and so on from the tutor dashboard.

• An email notification is sent to tutors in case of any new purchase or cancellation of subscription by the students.

• The earnings of the tutor increase immediately once a student purchases a subscription, and the earnings are reflected on the “tutor course earnings” page.

• Students can choose the subscription plan for courses on their favorite tutor’s profile.

• They can easily manage their subscriptions from their dashboard and activate/deactivate their subscriptions any time they want.

• Whenever any student cancels their subscription, then it remains active till the expiry date of the subscription plan.

• Students can view and manage their transactions under the “my transactions” page.

• Once the subscription expires, if any student tries to book a course or class, they’ll be taken to the subscription page to buy a new subscription plan.

• The admin of the platform can see all subscription plans created by all tutors under the “list tutors” page on the admin dashboard.

• The prices of the subscription plans can be seen under the “pricing plan for courses” tab on the tutor’s update page.

• Admin of the platform can see all the transactions made for subscription plans under the “payments manager” page.

• They can see all the details like student name, tutor name, type of subscription, duration, expiry and renewal date of the subscription, and so on.
