Tutor Subscriptions for 1-on-1 Classes

Pinlearn helps tutors to create subscription plans for 1-on-1 classes from their profiles. Students on the platform can go to their favorite tutor’s profile and subscribe to 1-on-1 class packages. These subscription plans are directly handled by the tutors, but the admin can oversee all subscription plans and the transactions associated with them.

• Tutors can post various subscription plans from the “subscriptions” tab on their profile dashboard.

• They can set multiple parameters like the name of the subscription plan, type of subscription, price of the subscription, duration, number of slots, and more from the subscription tab.

• If a student cancels any subscription, then their subscription status will become inactive, and the tutor will receive an email notification regarding the cancellation.

• Tutors can only set the price for subscription plans but not for individual class slots.

• Tutors will get notified through email whenever any student buys a subscription plan for a 1-on-1 class from the tutor.

• The earnings for the tutor will reflect immediately in the “tutor earnings” tab when any purchase is made by students.

• Students can check the 1-on-1 classes subscription offered by their favorite tutor on the tutor’s profile.

• They can see details like the price of the subscription, the number of classes offered in the subscription, the expiry date of the subscription plan, etc.

• Students can activate and deactivate their subscriptions anytime they want to. If a student cancels their subscription, then it will be active till the expiry of the subscription plan.

• All the transactions done by the students can be seen on their transactions page on their profile.

• Once a subscription has expired, when students try to book a slot on the tutor’s profile, they’ll get a pop-up saying, “Please subscribe to the tutor to book the slots.”

• The admin of the platform can view all subscription plans set by all tutors on its platform from the “list tutors” tab under “pricing plan.”

• Admins can also keep track of transactions related to subscription plans created by tutors for 1-on-1 classes on the payment manager page.

• They can see the student’s name, tutor’s name, type of subscription, renewal and expiry dates, number of slots, and so on.
